Choose a fence that adds to the house and yard’s overall look. Check out some pictures of different styles and materials to find out what looks best. It’s all about staging most of the time in real estate. Choose something that will generally improve the home’s aesthetics or even match some of the materials used in the house. Do you have a porch railing of vinyl? To tie everything together and make it look seamless, use the same color, design, and material for the fence.

3. Don’t forget to make a factor in the appearance of the surrounding area. 

Are the surrounding yards well kept? From the front and back of the house, we invite you to see the view. Must they be improved? Perhaps instead it needs to be celebrated for its elegance! Tall strong security fences are what you need to cover up anything that takes away from the back or front yard environment, but if the view is spectacular, go for something low-lying and transparent like split rail, picket, or estate fencing in whatever material best suits the property

 4. Determine the function you want the fence to accomplish what kind of buyers do you try to attract? Is the house appropriate for living in a family, perhaps with several bedrooms? Do you have a dog-friendly yard? Make it work even better with the right fence for families and pet lovers! If all you need is a good dog fence, the chain link is perfect. If you want to find something more aesthetic that also keeps dogs and kids safe, it would work perfectly with wire mesh estate or paddock fences or a larger aluminum alternative.

5. Make sure it’s done properly If you’re going to spend time and money installing a new fence, make sure the quality is good. Go with a fencing company that you can trust and that will do quality work for any prospective buyers to capture your estate. 

6. Do not stop at the wall! Go a step further. Make the new look go further by applying a little more TLC to the whole yard.  Consider adding some landscape features to the right next to the fence, such as this picture, to put it all together.
